[T2] Steering Box Upgrade

Has anyone performed the upgrade of a lower end model steering box
such as 211415049F
to an 211415049H on a 1972 or similar body VW Bus?

I've been told I just have to drill an extra hole and add a bolt sleeve.
Does anyone have experience with this or perhaps have any pictures of their
modification?
