well,, my comments were for the load of 4 x 5w lamps.... really not a very 
significant load at all...
and now you;ve tried to talk the connection allllll the way back to the 
battery.... for a 20 watt load...
or run it to the ignition coil?????   wow... very wrong in my opinion as 
there *really* isn;t enough capacity in that wire to run the coil itself.... 
sure it works,, but they expect a voltage drop there,, instead of putting 
ballast resistors...
any way... the original connections was right off the fuse panel.. the very 
first connection is at the gas gauge vibrator... and this is to run 4 small 
dash lights...  when the key is on...  carry on....
