Jack, Are you sure you shouldn't be posting this on a Morgan, MG, or classic US woody site? I just had to laugh (sorry) but having a "modern" car with a termite problem is just a bit funny, from the outside looking in. Probably not so funny from your perspective, but I'd say give the friends with the car payments a bit of slack, but I do feel for you, what a friggin PITA. Good luck with the repair and ridding yourself of the rust and pests. Shame if you can't salvage the linoleum, that true stuff is wonderful. Perhaps the recently proffered suggestion for laminate removal of letting the wood rot off it laying it on some damp earth for a couple of months would be just the trick. Would let bugs work for not against you. I presume linoleum, even though a natural product would still take it, that shit is near indestructible for flooring. Sand, road grime, rust flakes, termite scat, etc were cleaned up yesterday. Found: Baltic birch plywood piece 60"x60"x1/2" at a hardwood store in Brea, CA The Armstrong commercial linoleum remains intact, so I'm considering reusing it. So that's a start. Need to research the internets, Type2 archives and at thesamba. My friends with car payments don't understand any of this. Thanks for reading.
