TDC. adjust just to touch lifter. then turn 1/2, 1, 1 1/2 or 2 turns tighter everyone seems to have thier preference and reason. VW specs 2 turns. I have mine at 1.5 turns for feel good reasons and nothing exotic just seems to be majority of opinions. repeat on other 3cyl, new engine is done slightly differently Bob On Mon, 19 May 2014, Monty Rowden wrote: > Date: Mon, 19 May 2014 11:23:16 -0500 > From: Monty Rowden <montyrowden at yahoo.com> > To: type2 at type2.com > Subject: [T2] Hydraulic lifters > > Hello volks. > > Does anyone know the procedure for adjusting valves in an engine with hydraulic lifters?
