Hi, In response to Chris' question and because the old dropbox links appear to be dead, I'm reposting this 2012 post with fresh links to the pictures. Cheers, Sami Just wanted to share this in case somebody else can use it. I'm installing a VDO dual oil pressure gauge (one terminal goes to the dash light, the other to the gauge). It's too big for the hole in the tin, https://www.dropbox.com/s/3p5sbw1asnobsj3/P1030267.JPG?dl=0 therefore needs a relocation hose. But how do you tighten the latter? A crow foot might work, but I didn't have one handy. But I did have a piece of 1/2" aluminum tubing, I suspect for electrical conduits. Pinched one end with a bench vise: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jhclgjug4tdds7q/P1030269.JPG?dl=0 et voilà: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3qfgipsoknup586/P1030270.JPG?dl=0 So start the hose by hand, then slip the wrench over it and tighten (but don't go crazy, it's a tapered fitting). Here is the photo of the relocation hose. Note also the Autozone-sourced thread sealant in lieu of teflon tape: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0ef40vheugi2k6v/P1030268.JPG?dl=0 Sami ('75 Westy) type2.com/dakhlia
