One thing you could try, short of pulling the tank or draining it, is to disconnect the fuel line from the pump and blow compressed air up the line into the tank. Just blowing through it with your mouth may be sufficient. I had an old split window Bus with this problem; the tank was super rusty inside and eventually the flakes of rust would block the output. Blowing up the fuel line into the tank would fix it for awhile.
