On my bus (a 73 panel) there is an overflow drain in the gas filler pipe that will leak if I fill the tank too high. Not easy to replace, so I haven't. But I completely agree with checking the system from start to finish. I preemptively replace the gas lines every couple of years. Last time the line from the tank broke when I touched it leaving me pinching the line and hoping somebody would come to hand me a clamp :) Sent from my iPhone > On Jun 20, 2016, at 12:13 PM, Bob Pratt <ka1dza at verizon.net> wrote: > > I agree to that suggestion! Had someone smarter than I am overhaul the carbureters. All is tight - no visible leaks but when I put it in the garage after a drive, there is a big time gas smell throughout the garage and you can smell it in the house. >>> >>> Could it be from tank ? >>> >>> Sent from my iPad >>> _______________________________________________ >>> type2 mailing list >>> type2 at type2.com >>> https://www.type2.com/lists/type2/listinfo >> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> type2 mailing list >> type2 at type2.com >> https://www.type2.com/lists/type2/listinfo > > _______________________________________________ > type2 mailing list > type2 at type2.com > https://www.type2.com/lists/type2/listinfo
