Thanks all for your concerns about the house!! Have checked hoses - which wee all new - looks ok. I'm thinking about the vent line - not familiar with where I could see it. I wonder as a short term fix whether keeping the tank only partially full will help ? Not easy to replace, so I haven't. But I completely agree with checking the system from start to finish. I preemptively replace the gas lines every couple of years. Last time the line from the tank broke when I touched it leaving me pinching the line and hoping somebody would come to hand me a clamp :) > > Sent from my iPhone > >> On Jun 20, 2016, at 12:13 PM, Bob Pratt <ka1dza at verizon.net> wrote: >> >> I agree to that suggestion! Had someone smarter than I am overhaul the carbureters. All is tight - no visible leaks but when I put it in the garage after a drive, there is a big time gas smell throughout the garage and you can smell it in the house. >>>> >>>> Could it be from tank ? >>>> >>>> Sent from my iPad >>>> _______________________________________________ >>>> type2 mailing list >>>> type2 at type2.com >>>> https://www.type2.com/lists/type2/listinfo >>> >>> >>> _______________________________________________ >>> type2 mailing list >>> type2 at type2.com >>> https://www.type2.com/lists/type2/listinfo >> >> _______________________________________________ >> type2 mailing list >> type2 at type2.com >> https://www.type2.com/lists/type2/listinfo > _______________________________________________ > type2 mailing list > type2 at type2.com > https://www.type2.com/lists/type2/listinfo
