Hi Guys, I've been trying to get my truck back together, now that a lot of the body work is done. I'm putting the dash together, and just finished figuring out the wiring, or at least I think I have. Then I couldn't get the key to turn, even with some PB blaster sprayed in there. So I took the column apart, to take the pod apart, and after doing all that, I was able to eventually get the ignition to turn - with a bunch of lubricant. I probably need to get a new one. I'll put it on my list... Anyway - in the process, the little brass tab on the bottom of the column that the horn wire connects to broke off. Any suggestion on repairing that? I can just drill out the rivet and rivet a new piece on, but I'm not sure where to get something that would work well for a spade connector. Suggestions appreciated - this is for my '69 Singlecab.
