I was just reading about these adaptors, and wondering about a USB charger that could plug into it. Has anyone ever tried this or something like it for their bus? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076D9RLPL/ref=sspa_dk_detail_2?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B076D9RLPL&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=f0dedbe2-13c8-4136-a746-4398ed93cf0f&pd_rd_wg=vDDbJ&pf_rd_r=K0509N6CD61VEJVXYZKG&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&pd_rd_w=PQ00C&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pd_rd_r=9f666f02-e34c-11e8-b0d8-57846f192c39 It is essentially a USB adaptor - but instead of plugging into a normal American cigarette lighter sort of outlet, it plugs into the "silver socket" located just below the glove compartment? I like that this one has a Voltmeter built in. The PO of my bus installed a little cigarette 12v outlet in the glove compartment, which I currently use to connect my cell phone charger. The charger works intermittently, and I can't quite tell if it is a voltage issue, or an issue with the charger just having worn out. With a volt meter built in - when the thing isn't working properly, I should be able to see if I am getting proper voltage to the adaptor. -Kevin Guarnotta Jamaica Plain, MA '78 Westy '69 Singlecab '65 Ez-camper
