Two bolts hold it on and you may need the hammer as was already said. Back the shoes off because they can get held up in a groove they wear into the drum. You may need to back the parking brake off a bit too. The rust around the hub can freeze in place, which is why you need the hammer. I just did mine, here's the link if you have moment to look at the pics. I took the hub off, but it's not necessary. https://zerotosixtyeventually.wordpress.com/2018/07/05/rear-brake-rebuild-part-1/ Erik 71 Westy On Thu, Sep 27, 2018 at 9:33 AM cdreike <c.dreike at verizon.net> wrote: > Hi guys > How does the 71 brake drum come off? > Do I need to remove the axle but? > > Thanks > Chris > > Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE DROID > _______________________________________________ > type2 mailing list > type2 at type2.com > https://www.type2.com/lists/type2/listinfo
