Bob, I have the Koni's and didn't like them. The ride wasn't right whether I set the shocks stiff or soft. The dampening just didn't feel right to me. Eventually figured out that the stock shocks dampen differently in each direction. Stiff one way, softer the other. Therefore I am currently with the stock shocks. I could try the Koni's again. And I could go back to the original configuration without the sway bar. I still think the suspension was bottoming onto the rubber stops. The gap between the top of the trailing arm and the rubber was very short. However the stop is close to the pivot point so the throw of the arm is short at that point and the arm would need to swing far to hit the stop. This will take some more experimenting over the next couple of weeks. I still like the idea of cutting the rubber stops back. Would of course prevent the trailing arms from hitting the metal stop.
