A lot of work with frustrating results! If you have not, I would crawl under the bus while someone turns the steering wheel. You should be able to track the loss of movement because all the compents should starting turn with the steering wheel. Whatever doesn't turn or is delayed in turning is the problem. That's how I tracked my problems to the drag link. The only other thing I can think of is fiddling with the adjustment screw on the steering box.
