Hi John, Probably not well for both engine longevity and MPG due to too high of RPMs. Standard late small nut = lower geared than standard large nut. .89 means lower geared Beetle fourth instead of higher geared .82 fourth gear. Otherwise insufficient data..... ;-) So do you have early, late, 1963 one ton, or mountain geared small nuts??? What is a 2.05 tire?? 2.05 inches?
