Hi Avocado Tom, The turn signal indicator gets power through the speedometer (ignition on) and grounds through the KB1 connecter on the 9-prong box. If you pull the connector off KB1 and touch it to a ground with ignition on, the indicator light should go on. This will test whether the problem lies in the bulb circuit or in the 9-prong box. Assuming the bulb circuit is OK, I'd start with cleaning up the ground connection to the 9-prong box.
