Sam wanted to know where to buy one. Not sure, I googled and its not clear to me. Maybe one of the suppliers on the list has them, (your best bet). Mark D? Ron S? Jim T? Any other vendors on the list? What cha got? Also I noted on the google search, the 356 pulleys don't have a bushing. Buy a mounting bushing, be sure it has the threaded end to fit your nut. I happened to have an aftermarket VW pulley where the bushing was not welded into the rear half of the pulley. Took it apart and the bushing fit perfectly into the 356 parts. Don't forget the shim washers. Chris 64DD Kamper Kit Scientists seek to understand what is, while engineers seek to create what never was. BTW, I will have to do a few more runs swapping the pulleys to get the oil temp difference. At hot weather this could be good. But not when it is cold. don't get rid of the stock pulley and belt. When the weather cools down in the fall you will want to change back, or the engine can be damaged by running too cold. -----Original Message----- From: Lee <l.s.griffiths at salford.ac.uk> To: vintagebus <vintagebus at type2.com>; c.dreike <c.dreike at verizon.net> Sent: Mon, Jul 22, 2013 1:04 am Subject: Re: [VB] redux: Porsche Pulley So you are saying that with the fan running a little slower ? the engine ran cooler ? Is this a fan load/resistance issue ? Lee On 22/07/2013 05:22, C. Dreike wrote: > Hi, > Ran an experiment on my upright engine.
